3 January 2009 Saturday Stableford / Eclectic No play today because of the frosty conditions. Earlier this week the course was heaving on the three days running up to New Year. Good number of visitors too. There is truth in the rumour that the Finance Convenor was grinning like a Cheshire cat to come down on Tuesday to a near-full car park!!

1 January 2009 Happy New Year The Hogmanay bash went well again. A change of band but no change in the good spirits which pervaded the clubhouse. A few sair heids the next day? Almost certainly!
