Lundin Links has two golf courses, the championship one at Lundin Golf Club and the excellent nine hole Lundin Ladies golf course.
Both welcome visitors
of either sex.
There are many good local attractions for non-golfing partners. The historic villages of the East Neuk are well worth visiting. St Monans has a beautiful old church at the water’s edge. Anstruther hosts the Scottish Fisheries Museum. Pittenweem has an extensive arts festival in the first week of August each year and several year-round art galleries. Crail has a very unique harbour. Kellie Castle, near Anstruther, has a lovely walled garden and interesting interior.
St Andrews is a popular tourist town. With its cathedral, castle, arts centre and theatre, as well as a range of shops and, of course, golf courses and the British Golf Museum. From Lundin Links to St Andrews allow around twenty minutes by car or take the longer coastal route by bus.
There are several wet weather alternatives. In St Andrews there is the world famous Byre Theatre, recently redeveloped, and a three-screen cinema. Kirkcaldy
boasts a fine museum and arts gallery, and The Adam Smith Centre
that doubles as a theatre and cinema. There is a multiplex cinema on the outskirts of Dunfermline around forty minutes from Lundin Links. The local weekly newspaper carries information on these and other venues.
As for shopping, Edinburgh is now beginning to rival Glasgow as a major attraction. Perth is only around forty minutes away, as is Dundee. These three cities probably provide the best shopping opportunities but the local area also has excellent outlets.
