R&A Junior Open Championship 2010

Lundin Golf Club are delighted to have been asked by the R&A to host the Junior Open Championship in 2010.

Founded in 1994, the Junior Open came under the R&A administrative umbrella in 2000. Staged every two years, the event is closely linked to The Open Championship and played on a nearby course. All golfing nations affiliated to The R&A are invited to enter their best under 16 boy and girl golfers.

The practice day is Sunday 11th July 2010 with competition being played Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

This event has had the likes of Sergio Garcia, Paula Creamer and Rory McIlroy competing!
